Support IMoL!

Topics

Andy's Geeklog Software
Web Database Applications with PHP & MySQL

I have written a few add-ons for Geeklog - the content management system [CMS] I use for this and other sites. Most of these add-ons are in use right here on the IMoL site.

[No, I did not write this book, but I found it useful.] ==>>

I have spent a lot of time on these. If you wish to support development, please look at the 'Support IMoL!' box on the left or check out the 'Things You Can Do' sections of the individual readme files. The more support I receive, the more likely I will continue to work on and improve them...

I hope you like them!

Amazon Plugin

This plugin adds an Amazon search box to your Geeklog site, using your Amazon associate IDs from the various amazon sites [amazon.com, amazon.ca, amazon.co.uk, amazon.fr, amazon.de, and amazon.co.jp] to produce links to products.

Why do this instead of using the search thing provided by Amazon? Because with this plugin, the results show up on your site and with your theme.

Check out the readme for more information or try it out using the Amazon Search box on the left.

Download it here.

Geeklog Usage Stats [GUS] Plugin

The Geeklog Usage Stats [GUS] plugin collects statistics on who visits your site, what browser and operating system they are using, which pages they view, and which links they are clicking to get there. It allows the administrator to browse these stats through a series of tables, getting right down into the data.

GUS v1.0 was based on the venerable stats plugin v1.3 by Tom Willett and John Hughes.

Check out the readme for more information.

Here's a screenshot of the main table and one of the new [in 1.2] IP page.

Version 1.5 fixes a security problem which might allow non-authorised users to view some GUS pages.

Download it here.

This plugin allows you to integrate your Gallery2 installation into your Geeklog site.

Check out the readme for more information.

Note: If you are using Gallery2 v2.1 or later, this plugin will not work - go to suprsidr's downloads to get G2Bridge.

Gallery Block

When enabled on your Geeklog site, Gallery Block displays a listing of recently updated albums and/or a list of the most viewed albums in your photo gallery. It requires a working installation of gallery.

Check out the readme for more information or log in to see it in action.
